SACA, the Small Animal Clinicians’ Association, the first professional platform of Pet Veterinarians associated with small and companion animal practice in India.

SACA had a humble beginning with only six Pet Practitioners at Chandigarh in the year 1992, who met with the sole objective of providing quality health care services to the pet owners living in and around city Chandigarh.

SACA maintains the highest levels of professional ethics and brotherhood amongst its members and other professionals.

SACA was formally registered under the registrar of Society at Chandigarh in 1997. Registration No : 2682...1997.

Ever since this professional platform has grown spreading its wings in the Northern region covering the states of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttrakhand and Union Territory of Chandigarh.

SACA maintains the highest standards of professional ethics through its disciplinary committee comprising of Senior members. The quality control committee directs the members, time to time in adopting the latest and correct disease prevention and treatment regimes and the uses of Health Care Products on merits.

SACA is the founder member of Federation of Small Animal Practitioners’ Associations’ of India (FSAPAI), The direct India branch of World Small Animal Veterinary Associations (WSAVA).


SACA meetings are held once in two-three months at Chandigarh. The agenda often includes:

1. The proposals and suggestions to discuss the business and professional interests of the members.
2. CME.. Technical Lectures to keep abreast with the latest scientific knowledge.
3. Discussion on Clinical cases of mutual interest, presented by the members.
4. Product Presentations by the companies associated with animal health care.
